SERENDIPITY
Falling upon an unusual scene, man made or otherwise can be a wonderful surprise. Sidney’s coastline, walkways and parks are full of opportune moments for those that endeavour to explore and discover its secrets. It was mid summer when I stumbled upon this rather bizarre collection of Inukshuks. The light was full and blazing which is usually a caveat to put the camera back in its case, but not this time. Water subjects with rocks doused in strong light benefit from this kind of luminosity. Strong colours are emitted and a wonderful surreal saturation ensues. That is half the story, one also needs a compliment of light in the sky with high contrast clouds, on this particluer day the weather system was just perfect to augment the framing of the rocky assemblies.
